Grange Resources Limited is Australia’s most experienced magnetite producer from its iron ore mining and pellet production business located in North-West Tasmania.

The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine is a long-life mining asset where ore is mined and processed before it is transported by pipeline to the pellet plant and ship loading facility at Port Latta.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dayworks Operator at our Port Latta Operations.

Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

• Perform site excavator operations and general maintenance
• Perform duties of ship loading or reclaiming operator as required during ship visits
• Drive and operate mobile equipment and undertake basic equipment maintenance in accordance with our guidelines and procedures
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on buildings and infrastructure
• Provide support to process operations, mechanical and electrical trades
• Monitor and maintain pipeline corridor vegetation, drainage and roadways to site standards
• Participate and coordinate process innovation and improvement projects and strategies

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A current full manual driver’s licence
• Certificate III or IV in Civil Constructions
• Mechanical or construction-based trade experience
• Demonstratable experience in undertaking excavator operations

• Broad industry knowledge
• Previous experience in heavy industry, mining, or mineral processing operations
